Making belief shifts in our lives is not something we are trained to do or do naturally.  We come into a life and acquire all sorts of beliefs from our family of origin, our teachers, the individuals our parents hang out with (while we are quietly or not so quietly listening or engaging with them), our religious backgrounds and the social structure we are born into or live within.

Beliefs, those insidious and intangible things that we hold deeply in our psychic are quietly and effectively running our lives.   And, silly us, we think we are the ones managing our own lives.

Have you ever wondered why some people have and others do not?

Have you ever noticed how some people just seem to have been born under a lucky star?

Or, how others, no matter how hard they try seem to never get ahead?

The reason, simply and plain, is that their beliefs support them in accomplishing what the belief says they can and will accomplish.  And the individual most likely has no idea what the belief is that is running their lives.  They simply know that what they are living is different then what they would like to live and, to that end, they would like to change it.  Even the individual with the most charmed life typically thinks there is something more that they do not have.

And it is for this reason that so many individuals, so many of us, seems to self destruct.  We believe there is something more and due to the fact that we can’t seem to figure out how to obtain that something more, we self destruct.

While all along, there is a simple and elegant and complex and demanding 13 step process to change our beliefs and therefore our lives.
