Welcoming in 2010

So, we have begun the year 2010. The Big Apple has dropped, the Peach has reached the ground and the Swing in Key West has enjoyed its yearly exposure in the media. Yes, we have ushered in 2010 with pomp and circumstance.

And yet, the question that seems to be most pressing is why? Why do we usher the new in and so quickly release the old? Why are old friends to be released while we look to whom we might meet in the new year?

The reason, as I see it, is that we all have a belief in the new; we all have a belief that if it has been lived, then it is past tense; we all believe in possibilities and tend to not focus on the potential of what we have lived.

So, as we usher in this fresh new year, I welcome you each to consider how your actions and activities in 2009 provide a launching ground for the new year….how what you have been and what you have done can create the foundation on which you stand during a year of change and turmoil.

What have you built that might withstand the changes – in beliefs, in possibilities, in your physical world – that 2010 promises? Find your foundation…be prepared to build upon it.

The Shift Guru is focused on assisting individuals in shifting their beliefs about themselves and live so they may enjoy the life they came into this incarnation to enjoy. visit us at http://www.theshiftguru.comto learn more.
