The Value of Living in The Space

And if magic happened every day in our lives because we were creating the space to allow magic in, what would happen to our lives as we know them?  What would happen to ‘difficult’ and ‘hard’ and ‘unfair’?  What would happen to our friends who are not creating the spaces in their lives to allow in the magic?  Would we stay friends?  And, if not, is that reason to not create the spaces in our lives?

I, for one, do not think so.  I think I would prefer to acknowledge the daily magic in my life and live a life of magic and possibility rather than to keep the status quo, which I find rather boring.  Once you have touched the magic on a frequent basis, the living without it is really rather colorless and lifeless and unimaginative.

The value of living in space – of allowing space in a life – is to live the life in which magic is a continual companion; to live a life where magic is simultaneously the norm and the unusual.  For magic, as a companion, is anything other than ordinary.  It is extraordinary.

Why not try this weekend to allow just a little space into your life – your thinking – your breathing – your living.  And see what magic you allow to create.
