Shifting with Joy not Fear

I overhead an interesting conversation yesterday.  Two people were discussing the earthquake in Chile.  I was amazed to hear one of the individuals state that Mother Earth was angry.  How did we decide that a natural phenomena was due to Mother Earth being angry?  Was she angry when she made the Rocky Mountains?  Or the Andes?  Or was she in ‘shift’?

In my simple opinion, the changes we are observing, such as earth quakes and the resulting tsunami are the result of natural shifts  in Mother Earth. It is that simple and that devastating and that magnificent.

And I wonder why anyone would declare it a result of anger?  Is this because we, as humans, tend to make very few changes in our lives in joy?  Is it because we most often see the need to shift our beliefs and shift our life from a standpoint of anger and fear?  What would it be like if we were able to create these shifts in joy?  What would happen if we simply woke up one morning and decided to make a shift?  And, after contemplating it (as I am certain the spirit I know as Mother Earth did), simply go ahead and make the shift?

What would our view of the world look like if we were able to make shifts without fear and anger?

I am willing to give it a try…are you?

Wow Barbara, I love your thoughts on not making changes in anger… Reminds me of that wonderful little book ‘Who Moved My Cheese.”

I think we have all been looking at too much Walt Disney and putting our feeling out where they do not exist… It is fun though!!!!

Create a blessed and magical day…
