The Belief: Worry is Beneficial

I love interacting with people.  I find out the most amazing things.  People are such great mirrors to us, to each other. 

I happened upon a very animated conversation the other day.  This young lady was telling a rather large group about how if she does not worry then bad things happen.  She shared that she spends every unoccupied moment in worry to keep bad things from happening. 

The  most of the group was nodding and expressing the same opinion.  It is something like if we dont’ keep up a constant barrage of worry then we will not be able to ward off the bad things happening in life. 

How often do you find yourself worrying about anything?  How does this worry make you feel? And, doesn’t this belief run counter to the attracting what we want via the Law of Attraction?

    Sounds like a false belief to me. Those worries will eventually make you sick. It’s like when someone says, I have to constantly watch over you so you won’t get into trouble. When all that does is show a lack of faith and confidence in the person. The person senses that lack and the fear is placed in them to not make a mistake, and most of the time if they are not aware, they will continue getting into trouble. And the person sending out the frequency of mistrust just gives them more reasons to continue mistrusting.

    Oh if they only knew the consequences of their thought. Let’s teach them Barbara!
