Belief: Practices of Giving at this Holiday Time

And I have heard from many of you about your practices of giving.  Thank you so much for sharing your practices. I would like to mention a few in this blog post.

  • One gentleman practices working in the kitchens of homeless shelters dishing up food and happy holiday spirits;
  • A lady spends a great deal of time during the holidays gathering gifts of children and aligning needy families with gift givers to provide as many smiles on children Christmas morning as possible;
  • Yet another simply has an open house on Christmas day and serves all those who join the merriment – others who would otherwise be alone on this special day of celebration and joy;
  • And finally, a lovely mom let me know that he and her daughters hold a baking event where many individual bring in freshly baked holiday delights.  These are distributed along with oranges and apples to the women’s and children’s shelters around her city.

What are your practices of giving and sharing during this holiday time?

How would you like to consider shifting some of your long-held  beliefs?
